Hello, I'm Maria!

I'm a Singaporean Chinese indie illustrator and final year animation major at Nanyang Technological University's School of Art, Design & Media.

 

I particularly find joy in developing characters and creatures inspired by nature, religion and self-discovery; as well as sharing about my cast of original characters on my art Instagram, @melmare.art. When not drawing, I partake in hobbies such as writing, reading and casual gaming!
